[11-17-14] MYSTERYLAND 2015 - INITIAL ANNOUNCEMENT -

Mysteryland, one of the premium music festivals in the United States, just made its first official announcement earlier this afternoon. The festival is official coming back to Bethel Woods in New York on Memorial Day Weekend in 2015, the site of the legendary 1969 Woodstock Festival. For those of you unfamiliar with the Mysteryland name, it was first started back in 1993 and has been held in various locations around the world, but this 2015 edition will only be the SECOND ever in the US. The festival offers its guests a creative journey, combining music with theatre, movies, interactive installation art, street performers and spectacular shows at bizarre decorated stages.  

Here is a short summary of today's biggest updates: 

• The festival will take place from 1PM - 2AM on Saturday and Sunday (May 23rd & 24th) along with a pre-party for Holy Ground Campers from 2PM -2AM on Friday (May 22nd). 
• Holy Ground Camping will officially be increased from 7,500 people to 20,000 along with better roads for mud prevention.
• Plaza Central will get a facelift. More food and beverage stalls will be included to cater to the breakfast rush, as well as more markets and seating (indoor and outdoor).
• There will now be THREE stages located in the campground for the pre-party on Friday, May 22nd, 2015. They are bringing a new stage to the campground called "The Pineapple Paradise" along with the return of the Camping Circus and BangOn! bus.
• There will be an opening party each morning starting at 11 AM called "The Breakfast Club" hosted by 'Saved By The 90s' for those campers that want to warm up with a little dancing before the festival grounds open up.
• Goodbye, water points. Hello, free water bars. "Hey bartender! Please will you get me a glass of water - shaken, not stirred?" We're pleased to serve you a copious amount of refreshing water.
• FIVE extra large shower and restroom units instead of one.
