[11-20-14] Mysteryland USA - MUSIC UPDATE -

Mysteryland USA made its SECOND announcement of the week this morning, this time announcing the 2015 music curators. This announcement is absolutely MASSIVE, and we now know there is going to be an overabundance of fantastic music next year at Bethel Woods. For more information on each curator check out the information posted below.

Jamie Jones presents “Paradise” - One of techno’s rising yet prominent stars, Jamie Jones, has created an admired musical identity and a loyal global following. After his successful residency in Ibiza, Jamie Jones is touring the world with his “Paradise’ parties” bringing his signature groove as well as a spectacular roster of guests to Mysteryland USA 2015!

Adam Beyer Presents DRUMCODE - Since 1996, Adam Beyer has used Drumcode as a platform to cut through the noise of the electronic music scene. We welcome the opportunity for Adam Beyer to bring Drumcode’s vision to MLUSA.

Verboten is a Brooklyn-based nightclub and leader in the New York techno and tech-house music scene, also bringing its popular weekly Zeitgeist series showcasing indie dance and nu-disco music to the festival. Also known for its culture, which features deep house yoga classes, trivia nights, burlesque shows, and even art exhibitions from popular and upcoming artists. The unique, Verboten world will make its MLUSA debut.

In 2004, Prince declared Webster Hall "the best stage in NYC." Get ready to experience the venue that for over 128 years has been a focal point of music and culture at Mysteryland!

Q-dance creates exceptional experiences for a dedicated community devoted to their passion of hard electronic dance music. Mysteryland USA will play host to a Q-Dance tent, bringing the hardstyle back to the Holy Grounds.

French Express - Toronto-born founder of French Express, Leon Oziel (aka Perseus), decided to take his passion for house music and discovering new artists to the next level. He turned the name of his blog into a record label and recruited talents like Chris Malinchak and Moon Boots to the roster.

Dubbed “The Best Base Stage In The History Of Festivals” by some artists and media, the amazing boat became a personal stage filled with artists, positive vibes, Big Gigantic’s sax, and don’t forget, dollars from Dillstradamus. The Boat proved its worth but didn’t seem quite big enough in the sea of people that surrounded it… *hint*

Tropical vibes all around! The newly added Pineapple Paradise stage at the Holy Ground is a stage close to our hearts. Our ‘anything goes’ ethos is personified at this stage because you never know what to expect! Did someone scream Bingo!? Donna Summer? Frozen cocktails? Tropical House? Pineapple Pizza? What’s this stage all about? Only one way to find out!

[11-17-14] MYSTERYLAND 2015 - INITIAL ANNOUNCEMENT -

Mysteryland, one of the premium music festivals in the United States, just made its first official announcement earlier this afternoon. The festival is official coming back to Bethel Woods in New York on Memorial Day Weekend in 2015, the site of the legendary 1969 Woodstock Festival. For those of you unfamiliar with the Mysteryland name, it was first started back in 1993 and has been held in various locations around the world, but this 2015 edition will only be the SECOND ever in the US. The festival offers its guests a creative journey, combining music with theatre, movies, interactive installation art, street performers and spectacular shows at bizarre decorated stages.

Here is a short summary of today's biggest updates:

The festival will take place from 1PM - 2AM on Saturday and Sunday (May 23rd & 24th) along with a pre-party for Holy Ground Campers from 2PM -2AM on Friday (May 22nd).
Holy Ground Camping will officially be increased from 7,500 people to 20,000 along with better roads for mud prevention.
Plaza Central will get a facelift. More food and beverage stalls will be included to cater to the breakfast rush, as well as more markets and seating (indoor and outdoor).
There will now be THREE stages located in the campground for the pre-party on Friday, May 22nd, 2015. They are bringing a new stage to the campground called "The Pineapple Paradise" along with the return of the Camping Circus and BangOn! bus.
There will be an opening party each morning starting at 11 AM called "The Breakfast Club" hosted by 'Saved By The 90s' for those campers that want to warm up with a little dancing before the festival grounds open up.
Goodbye, water points. Hello, free water bars. "Hey bartender! Please will you get me a glass of water - shaken, not stirred?" We're pleased to serve you a copious amount of refreshing water.
FIVE extra large shower and restroom units instead of one.
