I'm extremely excited to get to share this event preview with you guys. After being so heavily involved in this scene for years now, it is getting increasingly more difficult for me to create a list of artists that I still have not had the pleasure of seeing yet. TORRO TORRO, however, is one of very few artists that I have been yearning to see for a long time.
Hailing from Canada, this duo brings an original sound/style that consistently finds its way onto my 'Most Played Playlist'. These guys found a way to create such a unique sound by combining multiple elements from electro & moombah with an unmistakable jungle/tribal vibe that is sure to get every dance floor booming.
If you were lucky enough to attend the First Counterpoint Music Festival in Georgia last summer, you will undoubtably recognize Torro Torro's remix of 'Go Deep'. This was without a doubt the anthem of the entire festival, getting support from Avicii, Skrillex, Porter Robinson, Zedd, and many others, this was the high energy jam of Counterpoint 2012, and for VERY GOOD REASON. If you haven't heard it yet, please take this opportunity to check out both the Torro Torro remix and the Killagraham DnB edit. Both tracks are FIRE!
